· Bahadur Madhani:

for charity work.

Currently active on the Royal Ontario Museum's board of governors, Madhani is striving to harness the strength of diversity and bring "Eastern wisdom to a Western institution". 2001 saw the Canadian government investing Madhani with the Order of Canada for "outstanding community service".

What are Madhani's future plans?

Devoting his considerable energies to bettering the plight of South African children in his new capacity as president of the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund.

What is Madhani's dream for the community?

"Our society should not only be a celebration of the strong and wealthy, it should also be a commitment to the poor and weak," he says, quoting British prime minister Tony Blair.
