ALL ABOARD BRAMPTON’S NEWCOMER BUS TOUR!
Newcomers are welcome to register for Brampton Library’s award-winning newcomer bus tours to explore city-wide attractions and points of interest.
Explore your new home and enjoy Brampton’s beautiful winter lights. Mark your calendars for December 4 and December 9!
In partnership with Brampton Transit, City of Brampton Recreation, and generously sponsored by Toronto Pearson, newcomers are welcome to register for Brampton Library’s award-winning newcomer bus tours to explore city-wide attractions and points of interest.
Attendees may see parks, hospitals, community centers, transportation hubs, and more. Here are the tour dates:
Newcomer Bus Tour 1: Thursday, December 4, 2025, 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Newcomer Bus Tour 2: Tuesday, December 9, 2025, 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Both tours begin and end at Springdale Branch Library.
Participants will visit Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA), and Century Gardens Recreation Centre during each tour. On December 4t, participants will tour a local fire station; and on December 9t, they’ll go behind the scenes at The Rose Theatre in Downtown Brampton. Along the way, the bus will pass other prominent city attractions, including Brampton City Hall, the Innovation District, Bramalea City Centre, Brampton GO station, local police stations, Chinguacousy Park Ski Chalet, Gage Park, local hospitals, and major sports centres.
More great news! Residents who are not yet members of Brampton Library are encouraged to arrive 15 mins to sign up for a free library card at the event.
How to register: Brampton residents who arrived after January 1st, 2023, are eligible to register for the Newcomer Bus Tour by calling the Library at 905-793-4636, or visiting the online calendar of events to book their spot. Please note, attendees participating as a family or group must register each guest individually to ensure everyone has a spot. Since space is limited, participants are encouraged to register early to avoid missing out.
