BRIDGING THE GAP WITH COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
Niam Jain (centre) with his mother and members of the Seva Food Bank team, board and volunteers, celebrating the mural’s completion and the spirit of community.
Seva is celebrating stories of heart, art, and community with Niam Jain’s mural. Niam Jain is a bright young Canadian abstract artist on the autism spectrum.
In partnership with Peel Regional Police and Woodbine Cares, Seva proudly helped bring his vision to life through Bridge the Gap, a mural that now lives proudly on Brampton’s Trueman Street Pedestrian Bridge.
Projects like Bridge the Gap reflect those values – bringing together artists, volunteers, and community members to create lasting impact.
“Thank you for believing in me. I love you,” said Jain in his powerful speech on art, autism and acceptance.
“At Seva, we believe in inclusion, diversity, and well-being for all,” said a spokesperson. “Thank you to our incredible supporters and funders who make this work possible. Your support helps us continue building bridges through food, art, and community care.”
