Concerned about radon levels in your home? Borrow a Radon Detector Kit from the “Library of Things” at Brampton Library for free with a Library card.

In response to Health Canada’s radon action guide and residents’ requests, Brampton Library has added radon detectors to its Library of Things. Members can borrow a radon detector kit from their nearest Library branch for a 30-day period. Renewals are not permitted.

Inaccessible to many residents due to cost, a specialized radon detector device is the recommended way to identify elevated radon levels. By lending radon detector kits through its Library of Things, Brampton Library is helping support the community in making informed decisions about home safety.
