Consulate General of India (CGI) in Toronto has invited expressions of interest from qualified lawyers/ law firms, and psychotherapists or mental health professionals for empanelment to support its recently launched One Stop Centre for Women (OSCW).

Since the launch of OSCW on December 26, the consulate has received a number of requests for assistance. To further enhance their services, the consulate is now forming two specialized panels - a Legal Panel and a Mental Health Panel - to provide comprehensive, timely, and legal and psycho-social assistance to Indian women in Canada.

Legal Panel: Empaneled Lawyers or law firms are expected to provide legal advice to Indian women in Canada on civil, family, criminal, and immigration matters, including child custody, detention, and minor offences. Mental Health Panel: Qualified mental health professionals / psychotherapists on the panel are expected to provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive counselling and psychotherapy to Indian women in Canada, addressing crises, violence, abuse, family conflict, immigration-related stress, anxiety, depression, and grief.
